Why was it important to develop this product?
DSL-Link was developed for DSL (digital subscriber loop) central office communication applications to support a Category 5e compliant cable with broadband applications. Uses encompass the central office and remote hut structures to support high bandwidth home networks.
What features & benefits/advantages does this product bring to the market? DSL-Link’s 25 pairs under one jacket offers easy installation as opposed to multiple 4 pair bundles. The shield offers superior reduction against RFI (radio frequency interference) which is beneficial against noisy installation environments. As the future of central offices migrate toward higher end multi-media convergence applications such as voice, video and data, DSL-Link meets that need.
