Mohawk has added an indoor/outdoor version of our Spectrum cable to our product line. Spectrum I/O is a low skew video twisted pair cable that is enhanced with a water-blocked design of a black sunlight-resistant jacket. This advanced design allows the cable to be installed in flood-prone indoor locations, outdoor duct locations or an outdoor location run directly to a single floor application where standard cable fails.
Mohawk has introduced RiserLite central loose tube cables, a gel-filled loose tube design with dry-blocking technology. It offers the long-term/field-proven reliability of conventional polyethylene outdoor unitized designs, but without the need for a transition splice at the building entrance.
Mohawk has expanded our VersaLAN line to include a 25 pair, Category 5e cable. As with our other VersaLAN cables, this cable performs in wet indoor locations when other cables fail. Mohawk is the first in the industry to offer this patent-pending technology.

The Spectrum cable supports longer cable runs than what is currently available with coax or data cables, has a smaller outside diameter than coax, and can be hidden via plenums or in walls.
Mohawk has expanded our LAN-Trak Outside Plant product line with a new Category 5e outdoor UTP cable. This cable extends current networks to outdoor satellite structures. It is well suited for runs under concret slabs and in moist locations, and for aerial lashing. It is also ideal for IP-based cameras in parking lots or other exterior applications.
Mohawk has re-designed our GigaLAN 10 cable with a reduced outside diameter of 0.295". In addition to increased cable conduit and tray capacity, the reduced OD design improves the product's bend radius, creating easier installation solutions.
Mohawk's new VersaLite TBF cable offers all the conveniences of a tight buffer cable with the environmental performance for outside plant installations. This cable is designed to eliminate the flooding gels typically used in outside plant designs.
Mohawk's VersaLAN cables are suitable for outdoor applications in addition to running inside a building. Mohawk is the first in the industry to offer this patent-pending technology. VersaLAN cables come in both Category 5e and Category 6.
