Mohawk is the first in the industry to offer this patent-pending technology. VersaLAN is made with fully water blocked and waterproof construction containing the same soft semi-dry flooding material used in Mohawk’s standard outside plant cables. The primary benefit of this cable is that it can be used indoors in wet locations such as below grade duct or flood-prone areas. It is also suitable for outdoor use in duct and for aerial lashing. VersaLAN Category 5e cable is CM rated and meets the Category 5e specifications of TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1.
